All Black with a Splash of Cranberry

‘Tis the season for all black everything, but give it a splash of cranberry and now we’re havin’ fun. I’m taking this summer skort into Fall by lightly layering with a blazer, sheer pantyhose and knee-high boots. Let’s get into the look, sis!

I’m all about repurposing pieces that have been in my wardrobe for many seasons. I like to repeat my favorites and find new ways to style them, even when my taste slightly changes. This is where my “essentials” come into play. No matter whether trends rise or fall, my staples are here to stay.

The only new thing I grabbed was this tailored double breasted blazer. It’s got crisp shoulder pads, gold luxe buttons and front flap pockets. The most dangerous thing for me is that it comes in 4 colors (clutches wallet). You can grab this one here.

My current favorite knee-high boots are these stunners from Urban Revivo. I’ve worn them many times since last winter and they look just as great as day 1. I highly recommend these if you’re wanting a boot that’s a little different, but wearable. I personally feel they look more polished and purposeful when you can fully see the boot versus it sticking out of a dress or skirt.

Being surrounded by florals makes me feel soft and feminine. I love floral perfumes, floral prints, and apparently I have a knack for literally wearing them as jewelry. This was one of those Amazon finds I had to immediately purchase. It’s pretty cheap (about $8) and just looks so. dang. good. You can grab this one here.

My current fragrance on repeat is the new YSL Libre since it’s warm floral and smells sophisticated. I usually wear this one for a night out when I’m feel chic and mysterious.
