Elegant drapery, asymmetric neckline, and a lace-up back to cinch the waist - a perfect fit for a woman ruled by Venus. I stumbled upon AYM’s brand on Instagram one day and quickly grew to love all of her work - it’s classic with a twist, feminine, and highlights a woman’s silhouette so eloquently. Rightfully so, this dress is called Venus and comes in other rich colors to choose from, but this soft, creamy white is reminiscent of Grecian sculptures I see when I visit the MET.

Continuing with the soft lines and movement the dress gives, I paired it with a bit of an unexpected bag color - bronze. This is the Rio Bag by Silver & Riley. I feel these being styling together is interesting because the handle of the bag also has a twisted braid detail and a rounded shape. Bronze is one of mankind’s oldest materials used so this metallic bag adds a touch of “Old World” to my already statuesque outfit.
